ABCs in Europe

Children move their first steps at school, learning the ABC with the help

of words and pictures. We could  exchange ABCs among first grade classes

using different European languages. It could be interesting to compare ABCs

in order to find out similarities or differences. Children could prepare

and exchange ABCs books with letters, words and pictures by snailmail or by email or by the net.

Children could collaborate to prepare a common ABC in English.

Finally children could prepare  ABCs about a topic, lists of words or flascards  about a topic, for example festivals( Halloween, Harvest, Xmas, 8th March, Easter,

Spring), national landmarks, environment, town/countryard, animals or food...We'll decide together.

This website will host the works of the children and lots of inspiration
